What else does the Institute do for students?
We undertake curriculum consultation and degree accreditation roles, provide affiliation with overseas institutes and organise the Resene Student Design Awards. By joining, we can help you:

Who can join?
The Institute's Board may admit to Architecture Student Membership any person who is a student participating in an architecture or architecture-related course, the completion of which entitles that person to gain a recognised qualification prescribed by the Board as being acceptable for Professional membership.
All membership applications must be formally approved by the Institute's Board, which meets four times a year. However, once your initial membership submission has been accepted and paid, you will be able to access the full range of member benefits.

Please note: Formal resignation in writing is required to discontinue your membership. The Institute does not supply industry-related magazines, these are supplied by the publishers.
