Abdallah Alayan and Jeremy Priest both of University of Auckland School of Architecture and Planning have won the annual design competition for final year students from the New Zealand's three schools of architecture with their projects, ‘Faith in Fiordland’ and 'Protest Academia' respectively.
Two highly commended awards were also conferred at this year’s awards – to Kun Tao from Unitec School of Architecture and Patrick Kelly from Victoria University of Wellington, Wellington School of Architecture
The Te Kāhui Whaihanga 2019 Student Design Awards are kindly presented by Resene, a locally owned and operated business, and a loyal supporter of New Zealand architecture.
