A pavilion without walls or a functioning weatherproof roof, this folly structure has a sense of well-managed mischief and delight, shading a concrete table and creating a much sought-after place for a long lunch. The craftwork of the cedar rods, and subtle lighting, have created a sumptuous occupational experience, albeit one that is open to the wind and rain. The form of the structure offers a nod to whales’ tails and floating clouds, and whatever forms you fancy.
