Named Awards

Our four Named Awards are conferred in the categories of public, commercial, education and housing, and represent Aotearoa's highest tier of architectural achievement.

The awards are named for four influential New Zealand architects: Sir Ian Athfield, Sir Miles Warren, John Scott and Ted McCoy. Each of these architects, in their own way, has made a powerful contribution to the practice of architecture in New Zealand.
