An urban intervention on a tight Mt Victoria site has generated a sophisticated solution seemingly out of thin air. The project takes a Victorian villa into a new era. Impeccable detailing – down to the level of the dog kennel and colour-coordinated dog – and crafting of timber joinery allows the house to integrate well into its back yard, and unifies hallway, skylight and rear elevation in a well-composed arrangement.
