Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects Friends programme is a great way for anyone with an interest in architecture or design to learn more about architecture and participate in our many events, activities and exhibitions.

By becoming a Friend of Architecture you'll receive a number of architecture-related benefits, including special access to our nationwide programme of events, awards and talks hosted by leading guest-speakers and industry insiders. You'll also be kept up-to-date with architectural news and views, and receive advance notice of special events through our email newsletter. 

The newsletter is named Te Kupenga, which describes a net used for gathering food. Te Kupenga symbolises the gathering of knowledge, as well as the coherence of a community as represented by the many knots in a net, which together create a connected whole.
